Samantha undergoes hyperbaric therapy – Times of India

Earlier in October 2022, actress Samantha revealed having a health complication which is known as Myositis, which refers to any condition causing inflammation in muscles. While the talented actress has been back to work, she still seems to be taking treatment. The pretty actress is apparently taking hyperbaric oxygen therapy as it helps reduce inflammation, heal infections, and repair damaged tissues.Hyperbaric oxygen therapy involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized environment. The air pressure is increased 2 to 3 times higher than normal air pressure. Under these conditions, your lungs can gather much more oxygen than would be possible breathing pure oxygen at normal air pressure. This extra oxygen helps fight bacteria. It also triggers the release of substances called growth factors and stem cells, which promote healing. The popular actress opened up about handling her health issues few months ago and said, “There are some good days and some bad days. Some days getting up from bed is very difficult. But, some days I want to fight. Slowly the days I want to fight are getting more and more than I want to give up.””Also I want to clarify one thing, I’m not dying anytime soon. I saw a lot of articles saying life threatening and I just want to clarify that I’m not dying anytime soon. Yes, it is autoimmune, it is taking time and it’s draining and tiring but I’ve always been a fighter & I’m going to fight,” she added.Samantha was last seen in ‘Shaakuntalam’ in Telugu and is currently filming for ‘Kushi’ opposite Vijay Devarakonda also in Telugu. In Tamil, she was seen along with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ last year.
