Mumbai, 16th September 2025: Dr Batra’s® Foundation today inaugurated its annual flagship exhibition, the 56th Edition of Magic Moments featuring Padma Shri Dr. Mukesh Batra’s, collection of photographs of iconic landscapes from the lands of the north pole. The five-day exhibition was inaugurated by renowned actor Shekhar Suman. Admission to the exhibition is free and will be open for public till 21st September 2025, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Kamalnayan Bajaj Art Gallery, Bajaj Bhavan, 226, Nariman Point, Mumbai.
Commenting on the occasion, Padma Shri Dr. Mukesh Batra, said “As a doctor, I know that having a hobby – photography or otherwise – not only provides stress relief and mental stimulation but also enhances both mental and physical health. Photography has always been more than just a creative pursuit for me; it has sharpened my ability to take quick decisions, trained me to observe deeply, and taught me the difference between seeing and perceiving – something that has helped me in prescribing correctly for my patients. This exhibition, inspired by the majestic and fragile beauty of the North Pole, is not only a showcase of photographs but also a reminder of the urgent need to protect our planet. The ‘click before you miss’ moments in photography resonate deeply with the ‘act before it’s too late’ call for our environment. I believe each of us has a hidden talent and a kalakar within, and if we use it for the greater good, it can create a better, happier, and more sustainable world. Magic Moments over the years has held a significant place in Mumbai’s cultural calendar, not only for its artistic appeal but also for its noble purpose. Supported by Nikon, the exhibition once again demonstrated the power of art to inspire compassion. The proceeds from the exhibition will go towards The Victoria Memorial School for the Blind, a cause that has been at the heart of Magic Moments since its inception.
